DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The first Sun Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the 2014 season is Tyler Palmer of Thomas. Palmer was selected by the league's sports information directors for his performance from Feb. 3-9, 2014.
Palmer hit .750 in a three-game series with Florida Memorial, collecting 12 hits, three doubles, two triples and three RBIs while scoring six times. Palmer was also 4-for-4 on the bases for the Night Hawks who swept the Lions.
