DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- Junior midfielder Maddy Minnis of Savannah College of Art and Design, received the honor in becoming the Florida Sun Conference’s first Player of the Week for the 2005 Women’s Soccer season.
The Yorktown, Virginia native registered her second goal of the season and first assist as the Bees lost a hard fought battle to Saint Xavier, which is ranked No. 21 in the NAIA preseason poll, 3-2. The Bees are now even on the season with a 1-1 overall record.
