DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Justin Burgess of Warner is this week's Sun Conference Baseball Player of the Week. Burgess was selected by the league's sports information directors.
Burgess played in five of the Royals' six games this week and finished the week with a .529 batting average. Burgess also scored four runs and drove in four runs for the Royals. Against Bellevue on Tuesday, Justin was 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts. Burgess leads the team with a .348 batting average and in stolen bases with 8.
