DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference announced Monday that Alejandro Lozano of Embry-Riddle has been named the Men’s Golfer of the Week for the week of March 4-10, 2014.
Lozano led the Eagles at the Warner Golf Classic on March 3-4 tying for sixth place overall with a 148 total. Lozano shaved ten strokes off his round one score (79) to fire a three-under par 69 in round two. Following the completion of round two the golfers were re-paired for a third round of team match play. The Eagles were pitted against the third-place team Warner for match play, and Lozano was one of two Eagles to win their match play, keeping the Blue and Gold at fourth place.
