DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference announced the first women's Field Athlete of the Week award for the 2014 season on Monday, with ERAU's Reta Woodard earning the honor.

Embry-Riddle senior Woodard began her 2014 outdoor campaign with a bang at the USF Invitational. Woodard, the 2013 hammer throw national champion, posted an NAIA automatic qualifying standard in the hammer finishing second in the event with a distance of 54.38m. Fresh off her 2014 indoor weight throw national title, Woodard also placed 11th out of 27 competitors in the discus, with a mark of 37.37m.

The Eagles will be back in action on March 21-22 in Tallahassee, Fla. at the FSU Relays.
