DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference announced that Northwood freshman Kehtura Merrick is the women's Field Athlete of the Week on Monday.
Merrick competed in four field events at the Hurricane Invitational on March 22. Merrick set a pair of Northwood records, taking fifth in the discus with a throw of 38.71m, and sixth in the hammer throw with a mark of 34.20m. Merrick added a the top NAIA mark in the shot put (11.13m) and an eighth place finish in the javelin (22.46m).
