DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle junior Darryl Knight garnered Sun Conference Baseball Player of the Week honors after leading the Eagles to a 4-1 record during the week ending March 30. Knight had a career weekend against Ave Maria, helping the Eagles to a three-game sweep of the Gyrenes as they moved to 16-2 in Sun Conference play. For the week, Knight collected eight hits, including four home runs and two doubles. He also drove in 10 runs and scored four. Knight slugged 1.100 and had a .458 on-base percentage and became the first Eagle in program history to hit four home runs in a single series, three of which were opposite field homers.
