DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference announced Monday that Embry-Riddle's Zachary Kraus has been named the Men's Track Athlete of the Week.
Eagle senior Zachary Kraus raced as the anchor leg of the Eagles' 4x800m relay team Friday night at the ERAU Spike's Classic. Kraus crossed the finish line first out of seven teams, posting an NAIA "A" standard and the fastest time in the NAIA this season in the process. In the 800m on Saturday, Kraus finished second out of 60 competitors finishing in 1:54.76, just .76 seconds shy of the NAIA "B" standard.
