DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference named Embry-Riddle's Reta Woodard the Women's Field Athlete of the Week announced on Monday.
Eagle senior Reta Woodard won the hammer throw competition Friday night at the ERAU Spike's Classic. Woodard posted a season best mark and an automatic qualifying standard of 55.97m, the top mark in the NAIA this season. Woodard then finished as the runner-up in the discus with a mark of 39.98m, and the runner-up in the shot put with a mark of 11.46m. Woodard rounded out the meet by taking a stab at the javelin, finishing in sixth with a mark of 29.92m.
