DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Southeastern's Caleb Winter has been named the first Sun Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
Winter, a true freshman, averaged 45.6 yards per punt in Southeastern's first college football game. His longest punt traveled 52 yards, and only four were returnable for a total of one yard. Winter also recorded the program's first points as he connected on a 45-yard field goal in the second quarter.
