DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Southeastern cornerback Quentin Harris has been named the Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 15-21.
Harris recorded a pair of interceptions in SEU's 59-16 win over Concordia College of Alabama on Saturday. The freshman picked off a first quarter pass in the end zone to stop a Hornet drive, and also picked one off in the second quarter, which he returned for a touchdown. Harris added an additional pass deflection and made a solo tackle, and assisted on three others. The Oakman, Ala. native now has four interceptions in three games for the Fire.
