DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Jenny Hernandez of Thomas is this week's Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Hernandez was selected by the league's sports information directors.
Hernandez, native of Miami, Fla., collected four goals on the weekend during two conference matches. Hernandez has helped lead the Night Hawks to an undefeated run in the conference. Jenny Hernandez scored three goals, including the game-winning goal as they downed Southeastern, 4-1. Hernandez continued to be a vital role on the offensive side as she consistently won the ball and placed it in advantageous positions on the field. She would not only win the ball, but she also collected another game winning goal during the Ave Maria match. Jenny has played a huge role for the Night Hawks offense throughout the year as she has leads the offense in scoring.
