DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Karly Palmar of Southeastern is this week's Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week. The league's sports information directors chose Palmar out of a pool of nominees.
Palmar netted half of the team's goals this week including the game winner with 35 seconds left to play in the first half against St. Thomas. The win marked the Fire's first victory over the Bobcats in school history. Palmar went on to score two additional goals on Saturday in a 4-2 victory over Florida Memorial. She is tied for first in goals scored amongst the Fire women with five on the season.
