DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Embry-Riddle's Dalton Barnes is this week's Sun Conference Player of the Week for his performance in three games last week for the Eagles. Barnes was chosen by the league's sports information directors.
Barnes helped the 13th-ranked Eagles to a 3-0 week, improving ERAU to 4-0 overall. Barnes averaged 18.3 points, including scoring a career-high 28 in an 88-82 win on the road over Fisher (Mass.) on Saturday. The sophomore guard shot 58 percent from the field, including 7-for-9 from long range last week, also recording more than five assists and two steals per game for the Blue and Gold.
