DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - For the third straight week, Cesar Pastrana of Embry-Riddle has been named The Sun Conference men's basketball Player of the Week. Pastrana becomes the first men's basketball player since Northwood's Jonathan Dunn in 2010-11 to earn three consecutive Player of the Week nods.

Pastrana became the 28th player in Embry-Riddle basketball history to score 1,000 points in his career, reaching the milestone on Wednesday night against Webber International. Pastrana scored 14 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds, registering his third consecutive double-double. The Cartagena, Colombia native helped keep the Eagles one of just six unbeaten teams in NAIA II with the 67-56 victory over the Warriors.
