DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Carlie Newman of Southeastern earns this week's Sun Conference women's basketball Player of the Week accolades for her performance for the Fire last week.
Newman was the top Fire scorer for the second consecutive game with 24 points against Warner, leading the Fire to their first conference victory of the season and upholding an undefeated record. She also snagged seven rebounds off the boards and recorded two steals on the afternoon. Newman is currently second on the team in points with 92.
