BLUFFTON, S.C.—Southeastern University senior tennis player David Veliz was named The Sun Conference Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending on March 15.
Veliz ran his unbeaten streak to ten at #1 singles with a 3-0 week, including two wins against NCAA Division II opponents. In his three singles matches, Veliz gave up just five total games, winning all three matches in straight sets. He also teamed with Gelawdiyos Haile to go 3-0 at #1 doubles, giving the tandem a 10-1 record this season.
