Southeastern’s Will Tillo is this week’s Sun Conference Football Defensive Player of the Week.
The 6-0, 225-pound sophomore linebacker from St. Augustine, Fla., set a new school single game record with 15 tackles in a 37-7 win over Concordia. He also had 3.5 tackles for loss and an interception in the winning effort. The SEU defense as a whole recorded 19.5 tackles for loss, resulting in 68 lost yards, and held the Hornets to an average of just 3.5 yards per play.
