Sharon Tejeda of St. Thomas is this week’s Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week for women’s soccer. Tejeda recorded three goals and two assists in STU's two conference wins at Warner and vs. Webber International this week. At Warner, Tejeda scored the first goal of the contest, then continued to provide offensive pressure through the rest of the game that resulted in a 2-1 overtime win for the Bobcats. Against Webber International, Tejeda was a part of every goal scored by the Bobcats, scoring the game's first two goals, then assisting on the game-winning goal – all in the first half. In the second half, Tejeda delivered on a beautiful assist to teammate Taylor Malone that gave STU an insurance goal in the eventual 4-2 victory.
