Thomas’ Bra’shey Ali is this week’s Sun Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Ali record Thomas’ first triple-double in the University's women’s basketball history - 19 pts, 22 rebs, 11 assists. Ali's 22 rebounds breaks her TU record of 21 earned against Mobile. Ali is just one of five players in the NAIA, Division I and II, to record a triple-double this season. She leads those individuals with most double-doubles (5) recording the fourth most in the country this season.
Bra’shey leads the NAIA Division II in defensive rebounds per game (9.5), offensive rebounds per game (6.833), and total rebounds per game (16.333). She ranks sixth in total rebounds (98), 12th in blocks per game (2.167), and 18th in total blocks (13).
