SCAD Savannah's Caroline Cook is the Sun Conference Track Athlete of the Month for February. Cook has gotten off to an incredible start to this season with five first-place finishes, a school record, and an NAIA "A" standard. Cook began the season with wins in the 3,000 meters at Embry Riddle and the mile at the Critz Tybee Run. Her biggest achievement came in the 3,000 steeplechase at the Savannah State Eye Opener, where Cook crushed the NAIA "A" standard by 18 seconds to run 11:00.20. That time is a school record and would have finished third at the NAIA National Championship last season. She followed up that performance by helping the Bees win two relays at the Savannah State Tiger Relays last weekend.
