Viera had a spectacular week out of the bullpen, earning two saves at 23rd ranked Keiser to lead the Bobcats to a sweep over the the Seahawks to gain position in the Sun Conference standings. In Friday's game, Viera entered the game with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the ninth with both the tying and winning runs on base. Viera struck out Keiser's Jack Curtis to earn the save and win the game for the Bobcats. In game three of series, Viera again earned the save, pitching a perfect ninth inning. Earlier in the week in a one-run loss vs. NCAA DII Lynn, Viera pitched two shutout innings allowing just two hits while striking out four and walking none. On the season, Viera is a perfect 6-0 with three saves.
