DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- Embry-Riddle University junior guard Ryan Exter recorded a career-high 35 points to lead the Eagles back from a six-point first-half deficit to prevail 90-72 over Guilford College (N.C.) to earn Florida Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending November 20th, conference officials announced today.
Exter scored 25 of the Eagles 59 second-half points to spirit the comeback including 6-for-8 from beyond the three-point arc and 7-for-9 from the charity stripe.
The Eagles opened the second half with a 28-6 run in the first 5:46 of the half to take a 59-43 advantage sparked by 12 Exter points (three three-pointers and three free throws).
ERAU is ranked No. 11 in the nation and hold a 5-1 overall record on the year.
