DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- Senior Michael Pyle averaged 19.5 points on 89.0 percent shooting from the field in two games leading No. 3 Embry-Riddle University to a 2-0 record on the week improving to 14-1 overall, to earn Florida Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the week ending January 1st conference officials announced today.
Pyle has been on fire from the field shooting over 77 percent his last five games and finished last week at .889 including a perfect 9-for-9 from the floor in an 86-56 victory against McDaniel. He averaged 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals.
