DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- Embry-Riddle’s Nick Miller garnered his second Florida Sun Conference Player of the Week selection in 2005-2006 for the week ending January 8th, conference officials announced today.

Miller, who averaged 15.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 blocks, and shot 55.0 percent from the floor to help the No. 1 Eagles to a 4-0 record last week with victories against Wesley (Del.), NAIA Division I No. 24 Southern Wesleyan (S.C.), Indiana-South Bend and Elms (Mass.).

The junior earned Carrabba's Shootout Tournament Most Valuable Player after posting two double-doubles at the tournament with 16 points and 12 rebounds against Indiana-South Bend and then followed with 26 points and 12 boards against Elms (Mass.). He has posted three straight double-doubles and four in the last five games.
