DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- Savannah College of Art and Design senior forward Ryan Kaminski helped SCAD to a split of its conference games last week with a 92-81 victory against Webber International and nearly upset first-place and No. 1-ranked Embry-Riddle University falling 70-67 on the road to earn Florida Sun Conference Player of the Week honors for the week ending January 22nd, conference officials announced today.

Kaminski recorded his fifth double-double of the season (and third in the past five games) as the Bees put a scare into No. 1-ranked Embry-Riddle. Against the Eagles, he scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. He also was the leading scorer for SCAD in the Bees' FSC victory over Webber International posting 18 points, seven boards, two assists and was 4-for-5 from the floor and 10-for-14 from the charity stripe.

On the week he averaged 17.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and shot 69 percent from the field (9-for-13) and was 16-for-21 from the free-throw line (76 percent).
