DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- Webber International junior forward Shalunda Coleman helped the Warriors maintain their perfect 7-0 record in the Florida Sun Conference with victories over arch-rival Warner Southern and Savannah College of Art and Design to earn Florida Sun Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the week ending February 5th, conference officials announced today.
Coleman averaged a double-double on the week with 13.5 points and 11 boards, while adding 2.0 steals and posted an amazing 79.0 percent from the field (11-for-14). She finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and was 6-for-8 from the floor in the Warriors 63-57 road win at Warner Southern and then followed with 13 points, 11 boards, three steals and 5-for-6 from the floor in WIU's 61-40 home victory against SCAD.
