Fernandez threw his best game of the season this past weekend, leading the Lions to a 5=2 victory over No. 14 St. Thomas University. Fernandez recorded a season-high 12 strikeouts while giving up just 2 earned runs and 5 hits -- essentially shutting down the Bobcats' bats.
