Grassi averaged 6.00 digs per set this past weekend as STU finished 2-2 at the STU Invitational. The first-year Bobcat, tallied a season-high 34 digs and five kills as the Bobcats (rv) Olivet Nazarene, 3-2. Reaching double-figures in digs in every match of the weekend, Grassi added 28 digs versus No. 3 Midland.
This Grassi’s second SUN weekly award of the season and the second of her career.
