DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – After leading the 12th-ranked Warner Southern to a 6-0 record last week, senior shortstop Brad Chamberlain was named the Florida Sun Conference Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

The Chipley, Fla. native batted .500 going 9-for-18 on the week with a 1.000 slugging percentage, five walks, eight runs scored and six RBI. He posted a double against Bethel (Ind.), a triple against Southeastern (Fla.) and knocked out home runs against Lindsey Wilson, St. Ambrose and in the second game against Bethel.

Chamberlain went two-for-four with a run in each game against Bethel (Ind.) and was a perfect three-for-three with two RBI in a 7-4 win against Lindsey Wilson. He was also successful in his only stolen bases attempt on the week against Southeastern.
