Grassi recorded her third 30+ dig game while earning 5.44 digs/set this week. Against Florida Memorial, Grassi was crucial in the comeback taming FMU's best server in the final three sets and controlling the top-spin service to give STU a chance on the offensive attack and five-set comeback. Against, Southeastern Grassi was perfect in serve and attack receptions, not committing a single reception error. The freshmen ended the season leading in digs/set with 5.44 overall and 5.36 in conference play. Grassi also hit the 500 digs in a season milestone, being the second player in program history to reach the accomplishment and she is seven away from breaking the single season record.
