Santacroce had a massive week for the Gyrenes, who got back in the win column on Saturday against Warner. The freshman averaged 18.5 points per game and nine rebounds for the Gyrenes, all while knocking down eight total three-pointers. The freshman had a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds against Keiser, and added a game-high 23 points in the win over Warner. Santacroce currently leads all Sun Conference freshmen with 36 made three-pointers.
This is Santacroce’s first SUN weekly award of the season and the first of her career.
