Tuson needed just one collegiate meet to make her name known. In her first collegiate race, she qualified for nationals with an A-Standard mark of 2:16.36 in the 800-Meter Run. Her time of 2:18.60 was later adjusted due to track length. Following that performance, she took a first-place finish in the 200-Meter Dash with an adjusted time of 26.93, originally 27.62.
This is Tuson’s first SUN indoor weekly award of the season and the first of her career.
