Atkins had a pair of four RBI games to help the Fire go 4-0 at the Gulf Coast Invitational over the weekend. She drew a bases-loaded walk to help the Fire beat No. 15 William Carey 3-2, then had two hits and drove in a run against Our Lady of the Lake. Atkins was a perfect 3-for-3 against LSUA, driving in four. She closed the tournament with a 2-for-4 game with four more RBIs against No. 10 Campbellsville. Atkins posted a .733 on base percentage and an .833 slugging percentage during the tournament.
