Tabares had a tremendous week for the Bobcats going 5-1 on spring break while taking on some tough opponents. Tabares won four of his five singles matches and swept doubles play on court three with partner Raul Safont Martinez. St. Thomas took down NCAA Division I and II opponents while battling with DIII #3 NC Wesleyan. Tabares worked his way from the three spots to the one spot and collected a win in each position. Tabares was also played a part in giving Saint John's their first loss of the season.
This is Tabares’ first SUN weekly award of the season and the first of his career.
