Worrel’s took first overall in the men’s 400m in a new personal best and school record 47.74 at the UCF Black and Gold Invitational. That time qualified him ”A” standard for the outdoor national championships, Sun Conference #1, and NAIA #4. He also set a new personal best in the 200m running 21.41. That time is “A” standard and NAIA #6. He also ran anchor leg on the men’s 4x400 relay that took first overall in a new school record, Sun Conference #1, and NAIA #1 3:13.90.
This is Worrels’ first SUN outdoor weekly award of the season and first of his career
