Reisz threw a complete-game shutout of the USCB Sand Sharks on Saturday as Keiser won, 5-0. The junior right-hander threw 91 pitches, scattering four hits over nine innings of action. The native of Council Bluffs, Iowa, struck out seven Sand Sharks while registering no walks. On the year, Reisz has posted a record of 6-1 with a 1.21 ERA. He leads Keiser with 65 strikeouts and is holding the opposition to a .225 batting average.
This is Reisz’ first SUN weekly award of the season and the first of his career.
