Sanders hit .857 on the week with an on-base percentage of .900 in 17 plate appearances. During the weekend series against USCB, the freshman was 6-for-7 with six runs scored and stole seven bases in as many attempts. She became the first player in the 10-year history of the program to steal 50 bases in a season. She finished the week with 12 runs scored in five games and five driven in. Her 54 hits this season lead The Sun Conference and her .432 average is second. Sanders' 52 stolen bases leads the NAIA.
