Vega had a “shutdown” day for the Seahawks, recording three interceptions, nine flag pulls, and one pass break up as Keiser picked up a pair of conference victories last week. The native of Melbourne, Florida, had a drive-stopping pick on the Warner 15-yard line to preserve the Seahawks lead to 21-7 early in the fourth. Versus the Warriors, Vega picked off two Samantha Wilson passes, including an 18-yard pick six early in the fourth to put Keiser up, 32-12. On the year, has recorded 39 flag pulls, 4.0 TFL, six pass break ups and a team-leading six interceptions. Three of her six interceptions have been returned for touchdowns.
