In a showdown of two of the SUN's top pitchers, Bolinger stepped up to have her best series of the season. Against a potent Webber offense, Bolinger tossed 16 straight innings without an earned run. She struck out 12 hitters with just one walk in those 16 innings, and was the winning pitcher as Ave Maria clinched their first postseason berth in five years. In Bolinger's last 28 innings of conference play, she has allowed just one earned run. She also hit the 100-strikeout mark for the first time in her career this weekend.
This is Bolinger’s second SUN weekly award of the season and the third of her career.
