DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Junior third baseman Daniel DiFabio garnered Florida Sun Conference Player of the Week honors after leading St. Thomas to a 3-1 record last week. DiFabio batted .588 (10-for-17) with a 1.000 slugging percentage over four games, and totaled a double, two home runs, eight RBI and seven runs scored on the week.

DiFabio, from Key West, Fla., posted three multiple-hit games, going 2-for-5 against NCAA II Barry, and 4-for-5 and 4-for-4 in a doubleheader against Florida Memorial. In the Friday’s game against the Lions, DiFabio drew three walks and followed with a home run in each game of Saturday’s twin bill, driving in three runs and four runs, respectively in games one and two.

DiFabio tops the Bobcat lineup in hits (46) and runs scored (34) on the year and is tied for the lead in home runs (4)
