Abbi Smith continues to lead in the circle throwing 15 innings this week and striking out 14. Seven of the innings came in a complete game shutout of Webber to secure the fourth series win. Smith then came in a shut the door and secured the first SUN series sweep of the season. Smith has not allowed an earned run in eight straight outings, lowering her ERA to 0.49, good for 3rd best in the NAIA and 1st in the SUN.
