Keely Watson is finding more comfort in his game having a career best performance leading the team to a comeback victory. The Bobcats found a new way to win this week, using more of the passing game and relying on freshman quarterback Watson. The Jacksonville-native went 25-for-35, completing 71% of his passes for a career-high 360-passing yards. Watson threw for three touchdowns, no interceptions and the biggest play of the game in the fourth for a 71-yard touchdown pass to seal the game. This is Watson's second career 3 TD, 70-plus completion percent, and over 300-passing yard game. He is first in the conference in pass yards (1981), pass yards per game (198.1), and quarterback efficiency (159.9).
