DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--Northwood junior forward Lene Bjerkeli was named FSC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending October 15, conference officialys announced today. Bjerkeli claimed the honor for the third time this season.
In a 2-0 week for the Seahawks, Bjerkeli tallied nine points on three goals and three assists. In a 6-0 Win over Webber International, she had two goals and two assists, and added a goal and an assist in a 4-0 victory over No. 22 Savannah College of Art and Design. The win over SCAD kept the Seahawks unbeaten and clinched a share of the FSC regular season title. Bjerkeli leads the team in scoring (16-9-39) this season.
