Laura Bonomi proved once more why she is one of the premier players in the conference. Two more double-doubles to add to her season totals. In the 3-1 home win over New College of Florida, she picked up 26 digs, adding 18 receptions with no errors. In the gritty road win over Ave Maria, she collected 24 more digs with 33 service receptions with no errors, adding three assisted blocks. Her defense fueled her offense with 31 total attacks, two service aces, and four assists for 34.5 points. This marks the first time in Southeastern volleyball history that a player has earned both the Attacker of the Week and Defender of the Week honors.
