DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Senior forward Cory McJimson became the first Northwood University men's basketball player in conference history to earn Florida Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the week ending Dec. 3.
McJimson posted his first double-double of the season with 32 points and 11 rebounds in an 84-80 victory over Florida Southern. Was 11-for-16 from the field and 9-for-12 from the free-throw line. Also chipped in three assists and two steals. He currently leads team in scoring (18.8 ppg) and rebounding (6.8).
