DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Savannah College of Art and Design senior guard Gerard Bowden earned his second Florida Sun Conference Player of the Week honors of 2006-07 for the week ending Dec. 10th, conference officials announced today.
Bowden was named to the All-Baisi Classic Team after averaging 19.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and shot 42.0 percent from the three-point arc (14-for-31) as SCAD split two games at the event.
He registered 17 points in a 69-47 loss to NCAA Division II Central State (Ohio) University, but finished with 22 points, seven boards and five assists as the Bees defeated David N Meyers (Ohio) University 77-72.
