DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Cory McJimson earned his second Florida Sun Conference men's basketball Player of the Week honors of the year for the week ending Dec. 17th, conference officials announced today.
McJimson averaged 16.8 points, seven rebounds and two assists in leading the Seahawks to a 4-0 mark last week…Was 22-of-33 from the floor (.667) and 23-for-32 (.719) from the free-throw line in those games. He posted his second double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds in 84-53 victory over Johnson & Wales Dec. 11 and followed with an 11 point-effort in a 99-81 victory against the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Dec. 14. McJimson recorded 19 points and six rebounds in a 100-62 win over Flagler Dec. 16 and closed out week with 21 points and nine rebounds against West Florida Dec. 17.
