DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Savannah College of Art and Design's Rachel Hennon averaged 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and shot 58.0 percent from the field (57.0 percent from three-point land) to help the Bees pick up a pair of road victories in the conference last week including an upset conference victory against previously undefeated Northwood to earn Florida Sun Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, conference officials announced today.
Hennon scored 17 points in the Bees 72-61 upset of Northwood and followed with 16 points the next day winning 56-51 at Florida Memorial. It was SCAD's sixth win in the past seven games and helped the Bees creep over the .500 mark for the first time all season.
