PORT ORANGE, Fla. -- Edward Waters center Antoinette Upshaw had a game only people dream off posting a rare triple-double with 11 points, 26 rebounds and 10 blocked shots in a 53-47 road loss to Savannah College of Art and Design last week. For her efforts, she also garnered Florida Sun Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors, conference officials announced.
Upshaw stepped up after Tigers' primary inside scoring threat Amber Carter battled foul trouble throughout was on the bench for most of the game (playing just eight minutes). She was all over the glass with 26 rebounds (seven offensive boards) and defensive presence kept EWC in the contest with 10 blocks.
